Riding to Remember

Fort Wayne, IN – On July 19, 2018, Myers & Hayden Insurance helped sponsor Riding to Remember, an annual event that honors fallen law enforcement officers and their survivors. Cyclists embark on a 14 day bicycle tour around the state, stopping at various location to pay tribute to the deceased. Located on Wells Street here in Fort Wayne, the event is held at the memorial dedicated to Police and Fire Men & Women who have died in the line of duty.  There are 15-20 people who ride in this even around the state; some complete the whole ride while others may ride for only a couple of days.  The group usually consists of active and retired law enforcement officers as well as those with familial or friendly associations with law enforcement.

If you would like to contribute to this event next year, please contact Don Hayden at Myers & Hayden Insurance at 260-486-5255.  The money goes toward feeding the riders and survivors at the Fort Wayne memorial event, before the riders head out to the next stop along their route.
